Oil sludge dewatering
Oil sludge accumulates for instance at many garages as so-called oil separator and sand filter remainders. These are not treated on site, but transported by a suction vehicle to a waste disposal company, which separates oil and slush from water using different methods.
For small amounts the treatment with one of our AM-products is suitable, because very clean water is generated. With larger amounts the oil sludge is flocculated partly in the suction vehicle or – as in our picture – during unloading and subsequently dewatered. The resulting clear water is often cleaned further with activated carbon or products containing bentonite.
Here a cationic, liquid product in an aqueous solution was used.
